FORT HALL - After being eliminated from playoff contention two weeks earlier by the Idaho Falls Mustangs, the Helena Titans could muster little offense, defense or dignity as the Runnin' Rebels of Snake River rushed (193 yards) and passed (237 yards) effectively en rout to a 66-0 cakewalk over a proud Titan team that began the season 2-0 before finishing 1-5 and in the playoff "cold". The game which could have had serious playoff implications, turned out to be a mere tune-up for the Rebels who will now enjoy a week off before waiting to host the highest seeded victor that emerges from the RMFL quarter-finals.

A number of big offensive performances were turned in by the Rebels, but the biggest "show-stealer" of the day was the Rebels lesser used tailback, Adam Egbert. Egbert had a number of big rushes en route to 118 yards on only 7 carries. That, combined with 114 punt return yards on 3 returns and Egbert went over 200 total yards himself. Kade Shawver scored 3 touchdowns and Jared Thomas tossed 3 touchdown passes in a rare showcase of passing for the Rebels who believe they need to "tune-up" their passing game to stay competitive with some of the RMFL defenses they expect to see in the playoffs.

The Rebel defense was little short of exceptional. The Titans punted 7 times and had 3 turnovers, one of the turnovers, an interception by Rebel cornerback, Chase Beck, Beck returned for the second Rebel touchdown. Jason Gordon recorded 4 tackles, 3 of those sacks of Titan quarterback, Shane Jurasek (8-14-2-52-0). TJ Bingham recorded 5 tackles to lead the team.

For the Titans, tight end, Mike McNellis accounted for 80% of the teams total yards gained with 4 receptions for 42 yards. Defensively, Travis Lamb bounced back from what might have been a serious injury in the Idaho Falls game to lead the team with tackles with 4 total. Long-time RMFL star, Hollis Huggins also had 4 tackles and an interception from the Titans secondary.
