KEARNS - The Madison Lionz continued their dominance over UFL opponents with a convincing 40-3 victory over the West Jordan Bulldogs lead by an amazing amount of "Josh" power. Josh Black rushed for 87 yards on 12 carries and a touchdown and Josh Huntsman recorded 9 tackles, including an incredible 5 sacks of Bulldogs passers as the Lionz cruised once again. Quarterback, Troy Dougherty also had another solid afternoon passsing for 171 yards and a touchdown without an interception as the Lionz offense never even had to punt on the day. Tailback, Tony Jenks (2 touchdown runs) and wide receiver, Buck Mowser (5 receptions, 53 yards) also played big for the offense while Greg Rammell (7.5 tackles), Andrew Ulberg (5 tackles, 1 sack) and Brodie Landon (3.5 tackles, 1 interception) also had great defensive performances. The Lionz next open up the RMFL regular season on the road against the league's perennial championship contender, Pocatello Silverbacks.
