MINI-CASSIA 28 TREASURE VALLEY 6

BOISE - Mike "Money" Manning passed for more than 300 yards for the third time this season and threw three touchdown passes helping the Mini-Cassia Bulldawgs cruise to a comfortable 28-6 victory over the Treasure Valley Panthers, after falling behind 6-2 in the first half. The Bulldawgs struck first when a punt snap sailed over the Panther punter's head and out of the end zone. Treasure Valley picked up an O'Dell Williams touchdown and the score stood at 6-2 at the half. In the second half, Manning exploded connecting for touchdowns with three different receivers in the third quarter as stand-out linebacker, Alan Hakes lead the defense with 9 tackles in shutting down the Panthers the rest of the way. The Panthers struggled offensively, particularly after the first quarter. With all-star, Manzo Hodge still on the mend, the Panthers newly aquired, Daryl Smith at quarterback. Smith was knocked out of the game late in the first quarter, opening up the gates for 3 more different Panther quarterbacks to try to move the team. The Bulldawgs (3-3) travel to Idaho Falls (4-2) as the Panthers (1-4) host the Helena Titans (2-3) next weekend.
