IDAHO FALLS - Former two-time RMFL Offensive MVP, Sean Powell caught three touchdown passes from Cody Jackson who threw for over 300 yards and 5 scores, including 112 yards of that to fullback, Russell Cummins as the Idaho Falls Mustangs derailed the "Bulldawg Express" which had won 4 straight games, beating Mini-Cassia 47-18. Rising star, Ron Holyhok lead a great defensive effort with 7-1/2 tackles and two interceptions, including an electrifying 43-yard touchdown to seal the game in the fourth quarter. Ron Childs was also another defensive force with 7 tackles as cornerback, Roudy Keller got the hat trick, picking off 3 Mike Manning passes to tie teammate, Josh Richardson for the league lead in interceptions with 6. Mike Manning had another typical day of big plays mixed with interceptions, going over 300 yards again, including 150 yards and a touchdown to Robert Carrick and 99 yards and a touchdown to Junior Hale. Alan Hakes, once again lead the Bulldawg defense with 10 tackles while Dustin Lapray chipped in 6 more, including a sack of Cody Jackson. The Mustangs (5-2) get a bye week before preparing to finish the season at Boise (1-5) as the Bulldawgs (3-4) return home to finish the regular season against the Pocatello Silverbacks (6-1).
