IDAHO FALLS MUSTANGS 19 ROCKY MOUNTAIN 6

The Idaho Falls Mustangs recovered from a 6-0 deficit in the second quarter to rally back to a 19-6 victory over their longest rival, the Rocky Mountain Cobras, to win their 4th straight game. The Mustangs were lead by their defense, including 3 interceptions from Tobee Christiansen and an agressive, attacking defense that shut down a potent Cobra attack after the first quarter. The Mustang offense was lead by Mike Jensen who had his second consecutive 100-yard rushing day and scored the Mustangs first touchdown. Sean Powell scored on a 55-yard touchdown pass from Jared Neumeier in the third quarter to put the Mustangs ahead and Tom Shawcroft returned an interception 49-yards for a touchdown to put the game away in the fourth quarter. The Mustangs (5-2) will host the West Division leading Boise Cardinals (5-2) and the Cobras (2-5) must now travel down to Salt Lake City to take on the undefeated Wasatch Wildcats (7-0).
