Domination... was the name of the game for the Pocatello Silverbacks. Using a superior offensive and defensive line, the S-backs dominated the Utah Sharks from the opening snap en route to a convincing 36-0 victory over their fellow RMFL expansion franchise. Tyler Wheatley rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns and Brock Gunter caught 6 passes for 80 yards and two scores of his own. It was on the ground that Pocatello clearly established its superiority. Amassing 238 yards on the ground, the S-backs ground down the Utah defense who never seemed to be in the game from the start. S-back quarterback, Jeff Belnap wasn't too shabby either, throwing for 156 yards on 12 of 19 passing with three touchdown passes. Defense, however, lead the way. The Sharks were held to an RMFL record low 5 total yards. The Sharks simply could not handle the S-back defensive front and could rarely get out of the backfield. It's back to the drawing board for the Sharks as the S-backs return home next week to host the Mini-Cassia Bulldawgs in a big RMFL clash.
