TREASURE VALLEY COWBOYS 32 MINI-CASSIA BULLDAWGS 26

The Treasure Valley Cowboys pulled off the most improbably comeback upset of the season, 32-26 against the fading Mini-Cassia Bulldawgs. Although the Cowboys recovered from a 26-0 halftime hole, that wasn't even the biggest surprise....... they came back with ONLY 13 active players!!! Quarterback, Paul Dovel was instrumental in the comeback, completing 20 of 30 passes for 241 yards and 3 touchdowns, while rushing for a 4th. The rarely used, Jared Gast had a break out day, receiving 6 passes for 145 yards and a touchdown in the second half miracle. Defensive captain, Mike White lead the defense with 7 tackles and an interception. The game marked the widest comeback margin in RMFL history and placed the Cowboys firmly in the playoff picture competing with Mini-Cassia and Rocky Mountain for the final playoff spot. Treasure Valley (2-5) next hosts the struggling Billings Warriors (0-7) and Mini-Cassia (2-5) has a bye week before hosting the Boise Cardinals (5-2) on September 2nd.
