Mike Jensen became the first 1000-yard rusher in RMFL history, rushing for 183 yards and 4 touchdowns as the Idaho Falls Mustangs capped a "return from the ashes" season with a 32-7 victory over their closest rival, the Rocky Mountain Cobras. After a slow start, giving up the games first score to the Cobras, the Mustangs responded with 32 straight points. Jared Neumeier passed for 168 yards and Rod Byrd had 70 all-purpose yards (23 rushing, 47 receiving), Jason Carlyle sacked Cobra quarterbacks 3 times and Scott Worthington recorded 9 tackles to contribute to the win. The Mustangs (7-3) will host the Great Falls Rangers (7-3) in the semi-final round of the RMFL playoffs in Idaho Falls. The Mustangs won their only meeting of the season 30-8. Both teams have improved since that contest, the question will be who has improved the most....
