GREAT FALLS RANGERS 24 MINI-CASSIA BULLDAWGS 0
The Great Falls Rangers recovered from a 3-game losing streak to ambush the visiting Mini-Cassia Bulldawgs 24-0 Saturday in a dominating defensive show. The Ranger offense wasn't too bad either as they rolled up 4 touchdowns against the 'Dawgs, including 3 Shane Jurasek touchdown passes. All three touchdown pass plays came from at least 40 yards out, including a 71-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Barnes in the second quarter. Barnes also scored on a 15-yard run in the second quarter. League leading passer, Mike Manning was held down to less than 100 yards passing, 2 interceptions and sacked 5 times by a hungry Great Falls D. The Rangers (3-3) now travel to Boise to play the Cardinals (5-1) and the Bulldawgs (2-4) now finish the season at home, starting with the Treasure Valley Cowboys (1-5).
