WASATCH WILDCATS 26  ROCKY MOUNTAIN COBRAS 12

The Boise Cardinals edged by the Rocky Mountain Cobras Saturday in a tight defensive struggle throughout. Missing a starting backfield, the Cardinals turned to Rocky Lopez who rushed for 67 yards and the first touchdown of the game. The Cobras tied the game in the second quarter when Cobra quarterback, Mark Horrocks hit all-star receiver Brock Gunter for a 25-yard score. The score was 6-6 until Boise jumped ahead to stay when Dustin Vandermeer tossed a touchdown pass to Stuart Dennis to take the lead for good. Neither team could amass more than 200 yards of total offense as defenses ruled in this RMFL contest. The Cobras host the streaking Kodiaks next Saturday and the Cardinals travel to play a hungry Billings Warrior team.
