IT’LL BE FANTASY FOOTBALL III AS RMFL OFFERS AN OFF-SEASON ‘DIVERSION’ TO THE FIRST 14 ENTRANTS FROM AROUND THE RMFL

RMFL – RMFL Commissioner, Jared Neumeier, has agreed to establish an “RMFL Fantasy Football Pool” for the third straight season that will involve 14 lucky fantasy players from around the league during the 2008 NFL season.

The criteria for entry will be that the participant needed to have been on an RMFL roster in 2008 and be one of the first 14 paid entrants leading to the September 1^st , 8:00 p.m. draft evening.

The entry amount for 2008 will be $25 and should be sent to:

With each paid entry, include your team name, e-mail address, telephone number and mailing address (for the winnings check).

When an entry is received, Neumeier will e-mail the Yahoo league id number and password for the league so that the player can register their team and begin studying the league scoring system.

As with the 2007 season, participants will be identified by which team they represent… as well as individually. “They can represent their RMFL team… and we’ll all know who they are,” Neumeier explained.

Neumeier said there is a potential for 16 teams.

“If I get several entries on the same day and it takes us over 14, I won’t try to figure out which should be in or not, I’ll just ramp up to 16,” he said, “however, no more than that. If I have to flip a coin, we’ll hold it to that level. The ideal amount will be 14, that way every team can play every other team once… and unlike our real league, ‘travel’ will not be an issue.”
