ALL-STAR TILT/SKILLS COMPETITION TO BE HELD AT MARSH VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL ON SATURDAY, JULY 12TH !!!

RMFL  The RMFL announced today that it has reached an agreement with principles at Marsh Valley High School in southeastern Idaho to host the 11th annual RMFL All-Star Classic on July 12th.

Marsh Valley High School sets up in a perfect and picturesque location with spectacular views of the nearby mountains and a convenient and easy to find location right off I-15 about 20 miles south of Pocatello, Idaho.

“Marsh Valley High and their head football coach, Jason Taylor (no, not THE Jason Taylor), have always been a big supporter of the RMFL,” Commissioner, Jared Neumeier said, “we have had some great contests there in the past and this one shouldn’t be an exception.  They are offering the field to us for free, which is great, although we will be making a contribution to their football program as a way of saying ‘thank you’!  What is really important for me is that the game will be free for friends, family and fans to attend… just like I like the all-star event to be”

The All-Star game was slated to be held in Northern Utah this season, however, only one of the Northern Utah teams submitted a bid to host the event (Logan Stampede) and it was for a field that there wouldn’t be access to lights.  “We have learned that it gets pretty darn hot all over our area at all-star game time,” Neumeier said, “so we have made sure that the game gets played as late in the day as we can… to make the experience more enjoyable for the players… and fans.”

The RMFL pre-all star game league meeting will be held at the school immediately preceeding the time to report for all players and coaches (3:00 p.m.).  The RMFL Skills competitions will be held on around the field between 5 and 6 p.m. with the game kicking off around 6:30 p.m.

The annual RMFL awards presentations will take place at the halftime of the all-star game.
