STIREMAN, EASTMAN, AND PHIPPEN GET RECOGNIZED AS “MOST VALUABLE” AS RMFL MANAGING BOARD RECOGNIZES THE GAMES GREATEST PLAYERS

RMFL– In his 4th season since the RMFL/UFL merge, Dave Stireman was finally recognized by the RMFL Managing Board as the RMFL's "Most Valuable Player". Although having his most statistically disappointing season, tossing 16 interceptions against 16 touchdown passes, in the end, it was his ability to will his team to victory that got him the recognition and the league's top prize. Stireman edged out teammate, Justin Oswald with 23 to 21 votes and Cache Valley's, Caleb Eastman, finishing a distant third with 18 votes. The Utah Heat's, Jeff Wissler finished 4th with 14 votes.

The AAA Offensive MVP title was captured by passing champion, Cache Valley's Caleb Eastman. Eastman collected 16 offenisve MVP votes, which was 1 more than Stireman (15) and the Cache Valley Bear's electrifying threat, Anthony Stewart (13). The defensive MVP was captured by another Rhino-Raider, Jake Phippen. Phippen lead the RMFL with 9-1;2 sacks and finished 4th with 49 tackles for the #1 ranked Rhino-Raider defense. Phippen edged out Cache Valley's, Matt Wiser, by a 27-24 tally, with the Utah Wolverines', Roger Shulze, finishing third with 19 votes.

The AA MVP Voting was overwhelming for rushing champion, the Bitterroot Blaze's, Justin Nixon. Nixon garnered 8 of 11 first place votes on his way to getting 39 votes to win the AA MVP title convincingly. The Vipers heralded running back, Josh Christensen, finished second with 28 votes while Missoula's, Shane Jurasek, finished third with 21 votes. For the second straight season, Nixon lead the AA with 1068 yards rushing and scored 14 touchdowns. Similar to Stireman, Nixon helped carry his team to a championship.

For offensive MVP, Josh Christensen and Bear River Valley's, Mike Jenkins finished in a virtual tie with 31 votes. Christensen, however, had more MVP votes (28-11) and captured the award. Jurasek finished third with 16 votes. The AA defensive MVP was captured by the heart and soul of the dominating Bitterroot Blaze defense, Jamie Jones. Jones picked up 5 of 11 first place votes on his way to gaining 39 points to overwhelm the competition. In second place was Bear River Valley's, Adam Whitaker with 20 votes. In third place was Great Falls', Mike Pease, with 17 votes.
