RMFL – Fortunately, for the most talented of the RMFL’s some 1000+ players, the Arena Football League will be holding an open football talent combine in nearby Las Vegas… Unfortunately for the most talented players of the RMFL, the date will be the same as what will likely be a critical late season regular season game.
RMFL Commissioner, Jared Neumeier, was contacted by Scouting coordinator for MSL Sports, ex-NFL rushing star for the San Diego Chargers, Chuck Muncie, who is interested in getting participation from the Rocky Mountain Football League. Although the Scouting Combine coordinators now realize that the date may not be ideal for the maximum participation from the RMFL, talks are underway for a potential future combine in a more northerly location… and, also potentially, during the pre-season to the RMFL.
“I wouldn’t want to discourage any true star player from going down to this combine,” Commissioner Neumeier said, “your family has to come first. If you think you have the speed, the talent and determination to play professionally, this could be a real opportunity for you. It’s just that no one wants to leave their team high and drive during a critical part of the season, so it’s a tough decision to make… especially before the deadline to register.”
There will be a charge for the combine (as usual), however, the combine will include a detailed video of each athlete and admission to the Arena Bowl XX Championship on Sunday, June 11th.
The Details for the combine, including a contact number, are as follows:
