OGDEN - Skylar Sherwood lead the Pitbull offense, passing for 217 yards and 3 touchdown bombs and Troy Peterson lead the defense with 12 tackles as the Layton Pitbulls upended cross-town rivals, the Layton Longhorns 30-7 for their first ever regular season victory

Pitbull tailback, Tim Taylor, also established himself as an offensive force, rushing for 121 yards on 18 carries on the day and wide receiver/defensive back, James Flynn made an electrifying play on a Sherwood pass for an 82-yard touchdown play early in the second quarter to put the Pitbulls up for good. Sherwood threw 3 touchdown passes in all and fullback, Frans Meyer rushed for another score and converted two 2-point conversions for the Pitbulls to round out the scoring.

After Peterson, who was everyone in recording an RMFL 2004 season-high in tackles, the Pitbulls defense was lead by Nick Coates (6 tackles), Will Pieler (5 tackles, 2 sacks) and James Flynn (3 tackles, interception).
