IDAHO FALLS - The Idaho Falls Mustangs out-yarded the Glacier Knights 502 to 16 and out-pointed them 51-0 in a game totally dominated by the defending champions against the expansion team from northwestern Montana

Mustang quarterback, Cody Jackson, got on track, throwing for 311 passing yards and 4 touchdown passes in leading the Mustang offense in their biggest outing of the season. Scott Brown (6 carries, 44 yards, 6 receptions, 55 yards) rushed for one touchdown and caught a pass for another and recently acquired, Kirk Lindsey exploded out of the Mustang backfield, rushing for 84 yards on only 5 carries and an electrifying 25-yard touchdown run.

The Mustang defense was lead by long-time Mustang defensive lineman, Mike Jensen, who recorded two safeties on Knight quarterback, Bobby Kuehne. Jensen was a load for the Knight lineman all afternoon, recording 3 tackles and a sack. Also big on a dominating Mustang defense was Ron Childs (4-1/2 tackles), Cody Hudson (4 tackles), Rayce Bird (4 tackles) and Josh Richardson (2 interceptions).

In a losing effort, the Knight defense was spear-headed by Patrick Doty (8-1/2 tackles) and Jason Zielanski (7-1/2 tackles). Zielanski was all over the field for the Knights, a leader in tackles, he had several good kick-off run-backs and he was on the receiving end of the biggest offensive play of the day for the Knights, a 21-yard pass from the Knights second quarterback, Andrew Wilson.
