BOISE 29 MAGIC VALLEY 0

HORSESHOE BEND - The Boise Roughriders raced out to a quick 21-0 first quarter lead and then held on for a 29-0 decision over arch-rival, Magic Valley Bulldawgs

Tempers flared early and often throughout the game, a likely elimination game for the Bulldawgs as they fought to stay in the playoff hunt after having a breakout season in 2003, falling just a few plays short of their first ever RMFL Championship appearance.

Roughrider tailback, Ernesto Ramos had another all-star performance rushing for 137 yards and a touchdown, also catching a couple of passes for 47 yards, including a 44-yard catch and run from quarterback Brian Stogsdill (6-13-3-130-3). Tight end, Shawn Mares, also turned in another solid performance as the Roughriders new primary receiver, catching 2 passes, both more than 25-yards in length and both for scores against a tough Magic Valley defense.

The Roughrider defense pitched its second shutout of the season, however, this time against a highly-ranked and turbo-charged Magic Valley offense. Defending RMFL defensive MVP, Zac Jockumsen lead the way once again with 8-1/2 tackles in including two quarterback sacks. Terance King chipped in with 5-1/2 tackles and Austin Callison recorded 5 tackles, including two more sacks to keep him amoung the league leaders in sacks.
